Identify the full build-up
Establish whether the supporting floor is timber and what covering is proposed. Weight, stiffness, insulation and available height may affect the suitable system.
Check product compatibility
The heating installer and flooring supplier should agree limits and installation requirements for the chosen timber product. Not every wood floor behaves in the same way.
Coordinate commissioning
Follow the system and flooring instructions for moisture, temperature and gradual commissioning where specified. Record the agreed operation and maintenance guidance at handover.
