Costs and included work
For kitchen specialists, compare the scope first: dismantling, service alterations, kitchen components and installation. A price is useful only when supply and finishing work are clearly defined.
| Work / price basis | Starting indication | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen specialists | Price on request | Dismantling, service alterations, kitchen components and installation |
What affects your total?
Specify whether the work concerns the room itself or also includes cabinets, worktops and appliances. Reusing cabinets requires a different approach from fitting a new kitchen. The worktop, appliances, electrical work, water, drainage and finishes should be identifiable in the budget.
What to send with your request
Send kitchen dimensions, photos, an appliance list and the components you want to retain. Include your postcode, preferred schedule and the elements that must remain, so the scope can be assessed.
Define the layout and products
Confirm cabinet dimensions, appliances, worktops and ventilation before service positions are fixed. Check clearances for doors and everyday movement through the room.
Coordinate the building work
Removal, structural alterations, flooring and wall preparation may need separate trades. Agree who measures and checks the room before production or installation.
Set the handover responsibilities
Specify appliance connections, testing, sealants, trim and decoration. A complete scope makes clear which tasks belong to the supplier, installer and building contractor.
