Costs and included work
For electrical work, compare the scope first: labour, required components, cable routes and checks after installation. A price is useful only when supply and finishing work are clearly defined.
| Work / price basis (from) | Starting indication | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Electrician labour | From € 40 per hour | Excludes VAT and materials; not a total job price. |
Market indications checked on 2 October 2026, not fixed Multi Concurrent tariffs. The stated work and unit apply; the quotation confirms the total, VAT and any additional work.
What affects your total?
An hourly rate does not cover a complete installation. Specify materials, travel, access, plaster repairs and any network-operator work separately.
What to send with your request
Send a distribution-board photo, number of connection points, intended appliances and cable routes. Include your postcode, preferred schedule and the elements that must remain, so the scope can be assessed.
Plan before finishing
Mark sockets, lighting and fixed appliances on the room layout. Cable routes and equipment decisions should be resolved before plastering or closing ceilings.
Use qualified assessment
The electrician should inspect relevant existing equipment and determine suitable changes. Avoid assuming that an extra socket or appliance can always be added to the nearest circuit.
Agree scope and handover
Include equipment, installation, testing and documentation. Coordinate making good with other trades and record any limitations or further work identified during the project.
