A loan or a grant?
A loan must be repaid; a grant has its own eligibility conditions. Check who can apply, which work qualifies and whether the application must be made before work starts. Only include funding as confirmed income once it has been awarded.
Combining the work with roof insulation
When replacing a roof, insulation may be a separate part of the work. Check the current ISDE conditions with RVO. The fact that insulation may qualify does not mean asbestos removal costs are automatically reimbursed.
Keep costs separate
Ask for separate items for the survey, removal, roof repairs and insulation. Keep quotes, product information, invoices and funding decisions so the scope of an application is clear.
