Costs and included work
For roof tiles: costs, types and advice, compare the scope first: roof area, covering system, substrate and junction details. A price is useful only when supply and finishing work are clearly defined.
| Work / price basis (from) | Starting indication | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Concrete roof tiles | From € 80 per m² | Market indication including VAT and fitting; substrate repairs and extras separate. |
Market indications checked on 2 October 2026, not fixed Multi Concurrent tariffs. The stated work and unit apply; the quotation confirms the total, VAT and any additional work.
What affects your total?
Removal of old layers, decking repairs, insulation, edge details, drainage and scaffolding are assessed separately. A covering price is not a price for replacing the entire structural roof.
What to send with your request
Send roof area, material, known age, photos and information about roof access. Include your postcode, preferred schedule and the elements that must remain, so the scope can be assessed.
Repairing an existing tiled roof
Identify the existing tile profile and assess nearby pieces, fixings and junctions. A replacement needs to fit the roof system. An isolated damaged tile calls for a different scope from widespread deterioration.
Choosing new tiles
Compare suitable products, appearance, maintenance and installation requirements. Have the supporting construction assessed where the proposed covering changes the loads or arrangement. Avoid selecting solely from a sample photograph.
Include the hidden work
Renewal may also involve battens, underlay, timber repairs, ventilation and details at ridges or edges. Ask what will be inspected after stripping and how any additional work is authorised.
Pricing and handover
The roof area, shape, access and amount of repair influence the price. Include disposal, scaffolding and temporary protection. Keep product details and photographs of completed junctions with the roof records.
