Send a useful brief
Include the address, photographs, drawings where available, desired changes and preferred timing. Explain whether the property will remain occupied and which parts must stay usable.
Read the inclusions
Check demolition, construction, installations, finishes and waste handling. Identify items supplied by you and work assigned to other trades, including their effect on the programme.
Agree the commercial details
Ask how allowances, exclusions and additional work are handled. Confirm the VAT-inclusive total, payment stages and any conditions before accepting, and make sure the quotation refers to the agreed design revision.
