Spray plastering costs

Spray-plastering costs depend on the finish, surface area and amount of masking and preparation. The spraying stage is only one part of the complete job.

Costs and included work

For spray plastering costs, compare the scope first: substrate preparation, layer build-up and agreed finish level. A price is useful only when supply and finishing work are clearly defined.

What affects your total?

Discuss colour, texture and masking. An empty new-build home is not comparable with a furnished renovation space. Loose layers, damp, cracks, major unevenness, corner profiles and work at height may require additional work. Ready for wallpaper, ready for painting and painted are different finish levels.

What to send with your request

Send separate wall and ceiling areas, substrate photos and the desired final finish. Include your postcode, preferred schedule and the elements that must remain, so the scope can be assessed.

Clarify the specified finish

Textured spray plaster and sprayed paint are different products and processes. Ask what system, grain and colour are proposed and review a sample where appearance is important.

Allow for protection

Windows, doors, floors and retained fittings need suitable masking. Occupied rooms and complex detailing can add preparation time even where the wall area is modest.

Compare complete quotations

Check repairs, primer, masking, application and cleanup. Confirm who prepares damaged surfaces and how the finished work is handed over for subsequent decoration, if any.
