Costs and included work
For plasterwork, compare the scope first: substrate preparation, layer build-up and agreed finish level. A price is useful only when supply and finishing work are clearly defined.
| Work / price basis (from) | Starting indication | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Walls plastered ready for painting | From € 20 per m² | Market example including standard materials, excluding VAT. |
Market indications checked on 2 October 2026, not fixed Multi Concurrent tariffs. The stated work and unit apply; the quotation confirms the total, VAT and any additional work.
What affects your total?
Loose layers, damp, cracks, major unevenness, corner profiles and work at height may require additional work. Ready for wallpaper, ready for painting and painted are different finish levels.
What to send with your request
Send separate wall and ceiling areas, substrate photos and the desired final finish. Include your postcode, preferred schedule and the elements that must remain, so the scope can be assessed.
Define the finish
Smooth plaster for paint, textured finishes and preparation for wallpaper require different standards. Agree the expected result and lighting conditions before the work is priced.
Assess the background
Loose layers, movement, damp and uneven masonry need attention before plastering. Include preparation, reinforcement where specified and repairs rather than comparing only a price per square metre.
Plan drying and decoration
Drying depends on materials and site conditions. Coordinate ventilation and follow-on painting with the plasterer, and confirm when the surface is ready instead of relying on a universal number of days.
