Costs and included work
For plastering walls and ceilings, compare the scope first: substrate preparation, layer build-up and agreed finish level. A price is useful only when supply and finishing work are clearly defined.
| Work / price basis (from) | Starting indication | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Walls plastered ready for painting | From € 20 per m² | Market example including standard materials, excluding VAT. |
Market indications checked on 2 October 2026, not fixed Multi Concurrent tariffs. The stated work and unit apply; the quotation confirms the total, VAT and any additional work.
What affects your total?
Loose layers, damp, cracks, major unevenness, corner profiles and work at height may require additional work. Ready for wallpaper, ready for painting and painted are different finish levels.
What to send with your request
Send separate wall and ceiling areas, substrate photos and the desired final finish. Include your postcode, preferred schedule and the elements that must remain, so the scope can be assessed.
Walls and ceilings differ
Working height, access, existing coatings and junctions affect the job. Specify both surfaces separately where they have different preparation needs or finishes.
Include the preparatory work
Ask whether protection, primer, repairs and treatment of weak areas are included. Recurring cracks or moisture need assessment rather than being hidden beneath a new layer.
Compare the full quotation
State the measured area, desired finish and rooms involved. Check drying, waste removal and the handover standard for the painter or wallpaper installer before accepting a headline starting price.
