Costs and included work
For decorative textured plaster costs, compare the scope first: substrate preparation, layer build-up and agreed finish level. A price is useful only when supply and finishing work are clearly defined.
| Work / price basis | Starting indication | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Decorative textured plaster costs | Price on request | Substrate preparation, layer build-up and agreed finish level |
What affects your total?
Grain size, colour, primer and any initial substrate levelling determine the price. Loose layers, damp, cracks, major unevenness, corner profiles and work at height may require additional work. Ready for wallpaper, ready for painting and painted are different finish levels.
What to send with your request
Send separate wall and ceiling areas, substrate photos and the desired final finish. Include your postcode, preferred schedule and the elements that must remain, so the scope can be assessed.
Select texture and colour
Review a physical sample under the room's lighting. Grain and colour affect the appearance of joints, repairs and adjoining surfaces, so agree them before application.
Check the substrate
Existing coatings, cracks and unevenness may need preparation. The quotation should state which repairs and primers are included and whether ceilings or difficult details are separate.
Compare the finished scope
Ask about protection, corners, access and waste removal as well as the price per square metre. A small room with many details may not share the same rate as a large uninterrupted wall.
